Mr. Henry Conner "H. C." Gilbert

Mr. Henry Conner "H. C." Gilbert, 80, of Thomaston, died Saturday, November 2, 2019 at Grady Hospital in Atlanta. The family of Mr. Gilbert will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 5:30 until 7:30 pm. Mr. Gilbert was born in Thomaston on August 8, 1939, a son of the late Ernest and Alma Stephens Gilbert. He served his country in the U. S. Army. Prior to his retirement Mr. Gilbert was employed by the Martha Mills Division of B. F. Goodrich. He was formerly employed by Federal Paper Board and also as a school bus driver with the Upson County School System. Mr. Gilbert is survived by three sisters, Diane Cochran of Thomaston, Helen Lackey of Chattanooga, TN, and Carolyn Stout of Lexington, NC; a brother, John M. "J. M."
