Mr. Henry James “Hank” Jackson, Jr.

Mr. Henry James "Hank" Jackson, Jr., age 67, of Talbotton, died Friday, June 16, 2023, at Columbus Hospice House. A private graveside service will be held on Monday, June 19.

Mr. Jackson was born April 23, 1956, in Columbus, GA, to the late Henry James Jackson, Sr., and the late Ruth Graham Jackson. He earned a BS degree in Art Education, a Masters degree in Special Education, and a Specialist degree in Reading. He was retired from the Talbot County School System. Mr. Jackson also held a Doctorate of Naturopathic Medicine degree. He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

Mr. Jackson is survived by his wife, Farrar Nicholson Jackson of Talbotton; his son, Henry Brown (Brooke) Jackson of Columbus; two sisters: Bonnie Carter of Columbus and Vicky (Tim) Mayse of North Carolina; a brother: Larry Jackson of Talbotton; and two grandchildren, Graham and Lilly Jackson, both of Columbus. Many beloved nieces, nephews, and cousins also survive.
