Mr. Howard Lester Allen

Mr. Howard Lester Allen, 85, of Thomaston, died Sunday, May 11th, 2014 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Allen will be held on Thursday, May 15th, 2014 at 2 pm in the Molena City Cemetery. Mr. Allen was a native of Upson County, a son of the late Dewey Jackson Allen and Mary Lou Lester Allen. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and served during the Korean conflict. He had been employed at various times by Thomaston Mills, Wells Dairy and the Coca Cola Bottling Company. Mr. Allen is survived by his wife, Juliette Thomas Allen; a step-daughter, Susan Burkett of Thomaston; two step-sisters, Vern Dupree and Ometha Adams, both of Thomaston; two grandchidlren; and one great grandchild. The family of Mr. Allen will receive friends at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home on Thursday from 12:30 until 1:30 pm.
