Mr. Hubert Lee Ralston, Jr., age 80, of Thomaston, died Thursday, July 7, 2022, at his residence. Funeral services will be held Sunday, July 10, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Charles Bennett will officiate, and interment will be held at Mill Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Dawsonville, Georgia at 3:00 PM, Sunday, July 10. The family will receive friends on Saturday evening from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Ralston was born July 5, 1942, in Canton, Georgia. a son of the late Hubert Lee Ralston, Sr. and the late Indy Elvie Ralston. He was a self-employed paint and body man and was a skilled freehand pinstripe expert. He loved golf, coaching softball, Nascar, and horses. He enjoyed good ole country music, especially listening to George Jones and Lorretta Lynn. Mr. Ralston was also a very talented dancer. Mr. Ralston is survived by his daughters, Jackie (Steve) Wilson of Jackson; Barbara (Eddie) Boshears of Locust Grove; and Margaret Keene of Jackson; his girlfriend, Marsha Brown of Thomaston; his sister, Carol Everett of Atlanta; his six grandchildren, Terri Marie (Phillip) May, Steffany (Eric) Lewis, Jerry (Allison) Mallett, Jr., Jennifer (Alan) Wells, Amanda (Jeff) Greene, and Savannah (Tyler) Tatham, his sixteen great grandchildren, Austin, Deven, Mercedes, Cole, Sawyer, Lilah, Kennedy, Karoline, Nokona, Knoxx, Wyatt, Marshall, baby Presley, Chase, Kaylee, his step grandson, Brad, two great great grandchildren, Emmett and baby Briggs. Also surviving, are several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Mr. Ralston was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Ann Sizemore Ralston, sisters, Mary Mooney and Evelyn Ralston and his brothers, Dean Mooney and Clarence Mooney.
