Mr. James David Hammock

Mr. James David Hammock, 66, of Thomaston, died Sunday, September 27, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. A memorial service will be held 2:00PM Sunday, October 4, 2015 at the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Mr. Hammock was born in Upson County to the late James Talmadge and Vivian Hammock. He was a Truck Driver, and retired from Swift in 2008. He was preceded in death by a son Charles David Hammock and a sister Linda Carbello. Mr. Hammock is survived by a special friend, Madge Ward of Thomaston; son, Paul Hammock of Thomaston; two daughters Amber and Carissa; sister, Cheryl Odom of Warner Robins, GA; two brothers, Mike (Pam) Hammock of New Hope, AL, Roy (Beverly) Hammock of Houston, TX; grandson Aleister Dewitt; and many nieces and nephews. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
