Mr. James Charley "Jim" Fussell

Mr. James Charley "Jim" Fussell, age 87, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, March 4, 2025, at Upson Regional Medical Center. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Fussell was cremated, and no services are planned at this time.

Mr. Fussell was born in Duncan, Florida, on July 26, 1937, to the late Ambus Fussell and the late Ocorita Pippin Fussell. He served his country in the US Air Force, retiring in 1979 with the rank of Master Sergeant. Mr. Fussell was an avid golfer.

Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joann Boswell Fussell, of Thomaston; his children: Cindy Cappel of Wisconsin, Greg (Paula) Fussell of Crestview, FL, and Tracie Fussell of Kenner, LA; two step daughters: Susan Bryant of Barnesville, GA, and Connie Boswell of Thomaston; a sister: Juanita (Ed) Martin of Panama City, FL; and a brother, Tommy (Shiryl) Fussell, of Lake City, FL.  Seven grandchildren, several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews also survive.
