Mr. James Michael Suddeth

Mr. James Michael Suddeth, age 61, of Woodbury, GA, died Wednesday, August 30, 2023, at his residence. His family will hold a memorial service at Greater Birth Missionary Baptist Church of God, on Saturday, September 2, at 2:00 PM. Minister Ridge O'Neal will officiate.

Mr. Suddeth was born in Upson County on September 16, 1961, to the late James Henry Suddeth and Rachel Talley Chapman. He was employed by Valley Pallets. Mr. Suddeth was the epitome of a country boy. He enjoyed tending to his chickens and his dogs, and he loved playing baseball and watching football.

In addition to his father, Mr. Suddeth was preceded in death by a brother, Marshall Suddeth. He is survived by his mother, Rachel Talley Chapman of Thomaston; his daughter, Savannah Suddeth of Molena; two sisters: Brenda Gale Buffington of Thomaston, and Gloria Payne of Molena; two grandchildren: Kolby Suddeth and Ava Burnette; and his aunt, Sally Tucker of Thomaston.
