Mr. James Terry Joiner

Mr. James Terry Joiner, 70, of Thomaston, died Friday, March 20, 2020, at his residence. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Joiner will be held on Monday, March 23, 2020, at 11:00 AM in Upson Memorial Gardens with Rev. Bill Barber officiating. The family may be contacted at the residence. Mr. Joiner was born on October 21, 1949, son of the late Thomas and Lila Proctor Joiner. He was a 1969 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and, after graduation, served in the U. S. Army and Army National Guard from 1969 until 1974. Mr. Joiner owned and operated Joiner Plumbing Co., Inc., until his retirement. He enjoyed playing golf with the Raintree Rascals Golf Group. Mr. Joiner was a member of the First Baptist Church and the Samaritan Sunday School class. Mr. Joiner is survived by three sons, Brian (Kelly) Joiner, Ben (Destiny) Joiner and Robert (Karla) Hernandez, all of Thomaston; and four grandchildren, Jacob Joiner, Kaylee Joiner, Wil Hernandez and John Hernandez.
