Mr. Jerry "Whitey" Fallin, 80, of Thomaston, died Thursday, March 12, 2020, at his residence. Graveside services for Mr. Fallin will be held Sunday, March 15, at 4:00 PM, in the Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. James Wilson officiating. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home Saturday evening, March 14, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Mr. Fallin, a native Upsonian, was born on November 22, 1939, to the late Charlie Fred and Margarete Phillips Fallin. He was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was the owner/operator of Sinco Company. He was a member of the Northside Volunteer Fire Department. Mr. Fallin loved showing horses and had won several ribbons and awards. He was a member of Valley Grove Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Fallin was preceded in death by a brother, Ronnie Fallin. He is survived by his wife, Barbara Strickland Fallin of Thomaston; a daughter, Pandy Baughcum of Crestview, FL; a son, Chip (Tammy) Fallin of Thomaston: two step daughters: Allison Evans (Jonathan Sanes) of Phenix City, AL, and Jennifer Evans (John) Weathers of Molena, GA; a sister, Greta (Lamar) Johnson of Thomaston; five grandchildren: Jennifer, Jamie, Jana, Nacole, and Cody; three step grandchildren: Caleb, Aaron, and Luke; and nine great grandchildren.
