Mr. Jessie Freeman Pittman

Mr. Jessie Freeman Pittman, 89, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 3rd, 2018 at Providence Health Care. Funeral services for Mr. Pittman will be held on Saturday, October 6th, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Dr. Ryan Christopher will officiate and burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1:00 until 2:00 PM. Mr. Pittman was born on November 25th, 1928, a son of the late Freeman George Lewis Pittman and Lissie Yawn Pittman. He was a drawing operator in the Card Room of the Martha Mills Division, B. F. Goodrich Company until his retirement in 1991. Mr. Pittman is survived by two children, Doris P. (Donald) Thomas and Kenneth (Delorese) Pittman, both of Thomaston; four grandchildren and eight great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kemple Piper Pittman.
