Mr. Jody Bowman Hicks

Mr. Jody Bowman Hicks, 69, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, April 3rd, 2018 at Navicent Health, Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services for Mr. Hicks will be held on Friday, April 6th, 2018 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Dr. Derrick R. Keeter and Pastor Tim Hayes officiating. Burial will follow in the Yatesville United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family of Mr. Hicks will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Friday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Mr. Hicks was born in Manchester on August 31, 1948, a son of the late Edgar S. and June Hicks. He held a Master's Degree in Public Administration and was retired from Upson County 911. He was a member of Yatesville United Methodist Church. Mr. Hicks is survived by his wife, Deborah Collins Hicks; a sister, Yslan (Bill) Hicks-Jones of Little Rock, AR; a brother, Edgar Stennette (Deborah) Hicks of Eufaula, AL; and several nieces and nephews. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
