Mr. John Frank Goggans, Jr.

Mr. John Frank Goggans, Jr., age 64, of Barnesville, Georgia, died Sunday, December 25, 2022, at his residence.

Graveside funeral services for Mr. Goggans will be held Wednesday, December 28, at 2:00 PM, in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery in Barnesville with Rev. Garth Forster officiating. The family will receive friends following the service in the church social hall.

Mr. Goggans was born May 11, 1958, a son of the late John Frank Goggans, Sr. and the late Essie Lee Martin Goggans. He was a skilled carpenter and farmer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, and trapping. He loved to spend time with family, especially his daughter. Mr. Goggans was of the Baptist faith.

Mr. Goggans is survived by his wife, Mary Goggans, his daughter, Jennifer Goggans, both of Barnesville; his sister, Kathy Buffington of Milner; his brother, James (Lisa) Goggans of Barnesville; his nephews, Jeremiah and Phillip Goggans both of Barnesville; and his fur baby, Piper.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
