Mr. Joseph Edgar "Ed" Green

Mr. Joseph Edgar "Ed" Green, 67, of Yatesville, died Monday, November 2, 2020, at Coliseum Medical Center in Macon, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Green will be held on Saturday, November 7, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Otis Hansard will officiate, and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home Friday, November 6, from 5:00 until 8:00 PM. Mr. Green was born in Fulton County on November 4, 1952. He coached basketball and was president of the Buford Little League Baseball Association. Mr. Green was of the Baptist faith. He was preceded in death by his wife, Teresa Green and a brother, Charlie Green. Survivors include his mother, Lucille Croft of Thomaston; a daughter, Chasity "Dawn" (Luciano) Escobedo-Garcia of California; a son, Christopher de-Wayne (Tonya) Green of Texas; three sisters: Dianna Pace and Lucy A. (Henry) Hawkins, both of Thomaston, and Teresa Hill of Yatesville; three brothers: Henry (Elsa) Green of Cumming, Eric W. Green of Qatar, and Willie (Teresa) Green of Rome.
