Mr. Josh Jackson Riggins, 70, of Thomaston, died Sunday, June 7th, 2015. Funeral services for Mr. Riggins will be held on Wednesday, June 10th, 2015 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Dean Hemphill and Rev. Steve Craven will officiated and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mr. Riggins was a son of the late Horace Jackson Riggins and Eva Lou Sanders Riggins. He was a self-employed painter for 35 years. He was of the Christian faith. Mr. Riggins is survived by two daughters, Martha Renee (Tim) Cook and Betsy (Bentley) Watson, both of Thomaston; two sisters, Ruby Teal of Thomaston and Eva Jane Ash of Woodbury; a brother, Marvin Riggins of Thomaston; two grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Youngblood Riggins. The family of Mr. Riggins will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Tuesday from 6 until 8 pm.
