Mr. Larry Eugene Fox

Mr. Larry Eugene Fox, age 77, of Barnesville, GA, died Monday, April 10, 2023, at Pruitt Health Care in Forsyth. No services are planned at this time.

Mr. Fox was born December 5, 1945, in Topeka, Kansas, to the late Robert Charles Fox and the late Geneva "Gene" Craig Helmick. He was a millwright and was retired from Weyerhauser as a powerhouse supervisor. Mr. Fox was a volunteer with the 4-H Club shotgun team, and he enjoyed coin collecting, creating stained glass pieces, and woodworking. He was a veteran of the US Army and attended Christ Chapel Church.

In addition to his parents, Mr. Fox was preceded in death by his wife, Violet Williams Fox; his son, Mark Fox; and his stepfather, Melvin Rodgers. He is survived by his daughter, Stacy (Heath) Fox-Haywood of Malin, OR; a daughter-in-law, Lisa Fox of Barnesville, GA; one sister, Sandra Rackley; two brothers, Randy Helmick and Johnny Rodgers; five grandchildren: Jonessa Hood, Sierra Hood, Luci Haywood, Savannah (Micah) Robbins, and Kristian Fox; and several nieces and nephews.
