Mr. Ljubie Terriell Thomas

Mr. Ljubie Terriell Thomas, age 68, of Thomaston, died Thursday evening, April 7, 2016, at Brightmoor Hospice in Griffin. Funeral services for Mr. Thomas will be held Monday, April 11, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Dr. Rex King will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday morning from 10 until 11 AM. Mr. Thomas was born March 1, 1948, in Alma, GA. He grew up in Waycross and moved to Thomaston in 1978. He was employed as a tract manager for Ranier Forest Products. Mr. Thomas was a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. He was a Viet Nam Veteran, and he loved the outdoors, especially hunting and fishing. Mr. Thomas is survived by his wife, Linda Thomas of Thomaston; a daughter, Niki Adams of Thomaston; his mother, Fonida H. Thomas, of Thomaston; a sister, Wanda Moore of Ellaville, GA; two granddaughters: Erica (Andrew) Van Houten and Kensie Adams, both of Thomaston; and two great grandchildren: Kaden and Addelyn VanHouten, of Thomaston.
