Mr. M. Norman Nobles

Mr. M. Norman Nobles, age 69, of Thomaston, died Monday, April 13, 2015 at Spalding Regional Hospital. Mr. Nobles was born January 8, 1946 in Upson County to the late Mr. John Willie and Marjorie Nobles. He worked with the Georgia State Patrol, Georgia Forestry Commission and later retired as a Correction Officer from the Griffin Detention Center. He was a lifetime member of the Military Vehicle Preservation Association. Funeral Services for Mr. Nobles will be held at 2:00PM Thursday April 16, 2015 in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Burial will follow in the Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery. Tim Bosworth will officiate. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00PM till 8:00 PM. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Edith M. Nobles of Thomaston, GA; Daughter, Ashley Nicole Nobles of Thomaston, GA; Son, Christopher John (Harley) Nobles of Thomaston, GA; Sister, Susan (Aaron) Baughcum, of Thomaston, GA. The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of all arrangements.
