Mr. Marvin Allen English

Mr. Marvin Allen English, 86, of Thomaston, died Sunday, August 26th, 2018 at Riverside Health and Rehab. Mr. English was born on June 11th, 1932 in Thomaston, a son of the late Willie Frank and Annie Lizzie Harmon English. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and during his service he was posted in Germany. He attended Gordon Military College. Mr. English was a retired security guard at B. F. Goodrich, Martha Mills Division, for the Pinkerton Agency. He attended the Flint River Primitive Baptist Church. Mr. English is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Rev. Kenneth Wayne and Pam English of Thomaston; a sister Lucile Harmon of Griffin; a brother, Jack English of Thomaston; a special friend, Jeanette Smith of Thomaston; three grandchildren, Mandy Jones, Kevin English and Chris English; and six great grandchildren, Lyllah Jane English, Wilkin English, Eli Jones, Avery English, Everly English and Rosalee English. Memorial services for Mr. English will be announced at a later time. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
