Mr. Melvin Hartley Corley

Mr. Melvin Hartley Corley, 90, of Thomaston, died Sunday, July 8, 2018, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Graveside memorial services for Mr. Corley will be held on Saturday, July 14, at 11:00 AM, in the Valley Grove Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Travis Graham officiating. Mr. Corley was born November 12, 1927, in Upson County, to the late Benjamin Furman and Gannell Elliott Corley. Mr. Corley was the retired owner/operator of Corley Plumbing and Heating. He was a member of the Valley Grove Baptist Church where he had served as a Deacon. Survivors include his son, Hugh (Morie) Corley of Suwanee; and three grandchildren, Heath and Jessica Corley and their children, Tatum and Greer, Ginny and Eric Brown and their children, Anna, Ethan, and Juliette, and Katie and Patrick Haynes and their child, Amelia. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Bonnell Bradshaw Corley.
