Mr. Ralph Nathaniel Cromer

Mr. Ralph Nathaniel Cromer, 82, of Thomaston, died Saturday, August 5, 2017, at his residence. Funeral services for Mr. Cromer will be held on Tuesday, August 8, at 2:00 PM in the chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mr. Clarence Whatley will officiate, and burial will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 1:00 until the funeral hour. Mr. Cromer, a native of Thomaston, was born August 10, 1934, to the late Frank Marion Cromer and Flossie Kate Mills Cromer. He was retired from the William Carter Company where he was a machinist. He was a member of East Thomaston Lodge #75 F&AM, and he was a veteran of the U. S. Navy. Mr. Cromer was a member of the Hightower Silvertown United Methodist Church. Mr. Cromer is survived by his wife, Helen Downs Cromer of Thomaston; nieces: Martha ( Bob) Hartman of Umatilla, FL; Denise (Bob) Lange of Cartersville, GA; and Lydia Bush of Live Oak, FL; Michelle (William) Leahy of Escondido, CA; Yvette (Andy) Youngs of Denver, CO; a nephew: Frank (Sherry) Cromer of TX. Several other nieces and nephews also survive.
