Mr. Robert Wayne Trice

Mr. Robert Wayne Trice, 75, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, February 10th, 2015 at the Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Funeral services for Mr. Trice will be held on February 12th, 2015 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with the Rev. John Yarbrough officiating. Burial with military honors will follow in South View Cemetery. Mr. Trice was born in Thomaston on September 15th, 1939, a son of the late Horace Trice and Pearline Thigpen Trice. He served his country in the U. S. Air Force and was honorably discharged in 1963. He returned to Thomaston and was employed at the Peerless Division of Thomaston Mills. Mr. Trice was an avid sports fan. He was a member of Wilson Chapel Baptist Church. Mr. Trice is survived by his brother, Horace Trice of Thomaston; sister-in-law, Fuiko Trice of Jacksonville, FL; two nieces, Cindy (Roger) Portwood of Thomaston and Maria (Mark) Caraway of Jacksonville, FL; two nephews, Jackie Fennell and Mike Grier, both of Thomaston; two aunts, Nadine Thigpen and Bobbie Jones, both of Macon, and many more nieces, nephews and cousins, He was preceded in death by his wife, Henrietta Trice.
