Mr. Ronnie Dean Melton

Mr. Ronnie Dean Melton, age 67, of Molena, GA, died Friday, August 25, 2023, at Emory Decatur Hospital. Memorial services for Mr. Melton will be held on Thursday, August 31, at 2:00 PM, at Liberty Worship Center. The family will receive friends at Liberty Worship Center on Thursday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.

Mr. Melton was born in Upson County on October 16, 1955, to the late Aldine Melton and the late Cora Lou Connell Melton. He loved old cars and NASCAR. Mr. Melton attended Liberty Worship Center.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother-in-law, Stoney Daniel.

Survivors include his son, Howard "Giddy Up" Melton of Moultrie, GA; a sister, Angela Daniel of Molena, GA; a brother, Joe (Sheila) Melton of Molena, GA; three grandchildren: Izak Melton, Harley Melton, and Alisha Harvey (Colton Brooks); five nieces and nephews: Isaac (Carlie) Daniel, Holly Welch, Nick (Jennifer) Lane, Audra Lane, and Jody Melton; and ten great nieces and nephews. A special cousin and friend, Joey Hudgins, also survives.
