Mr. Roy Glennis Glover

Mr. Roy Glennis Glover, age 85, of Owensville, Missouri, died Wednesday, May 29, 2019, in Missouri. The family will hold a memorial service for Mr. Glover on Saturday, June 1, 2019, at 2:00 PM, at Mountain View Baptist Church, with Dr. Ryan Christopher officiating. Mr. Glover was born on August 9, 1933, in Upson County, to the late Theo Glover and Florence McLeod Glover. He served his country honorably in the U.S. Army. Mr. Glover was a retired Electrician. He was preceded in death by his wife, Miriam Ford Glover; daughter, Gayla A. Langford; grandson, Joseph Thompson; and one great great-grandchild, Jessica. He enjoyed fishing and hunting, but especially loved holding his grandbabies. Mr. Glover is survived by his sons, Glen Glover of Thomaston; Randy Glover of Missouri; Reggie Glover of Thomaston; a daughter, Gina Glover (Ron) Pollard of Thomaston; a son-in-law, Randall Langford; and six grandchildren. Numerous great grandchildren and great great-grandchildren also survive. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home of Thomaston, GA, is assisting the family with local arrangements.
