Mr. Roy Raymond Mcnelly, Sr.

Mr. Roy Raymond McNelly, Sr., age 59 of Thomaston, died Thursday, April 27, 2017, at Emory Hospital Midtown. Mr. McNelly, a native of Wilmington, DE, was born March 18, 1958, to the late Vernon and Pearl Foraker McNelly. He was employed with Flash Foods as an IT Tech. Mr. McNelly loved music and was an avid guitarist. He was a member of the Beth Yeshua Messianic Synagogue. Survivors include his wife, Cynthia Abiyah McNelly of Thomaston; seven children: Roy Raymond McNelly, Jr. of Laurel, DE; Bryan (Heather) McNelly of Thomaston, GA; Elizabeth McNelly of Sarasota, FL; Obediyah McNelly of Sarasota, FL; David McNelly of Bradenton, FL; Daniel McNelly of Colorado; and Rachael McNelly of Philadelphia, PA; two sisters: Debbie (Bob) Stevens of New Castle, DE; and Ruth (Duane) Gleason of Myersville, MD; one brother, Henery Alters of Wilmington, DE; three grandchildren: Bryan McNelly, Jr. of VA; Roy McNelly, III of Laurel, DE; and Isaiah McNelly of Thomaston, GA.; and his mother-in-law, Anne Smith of Thomaston, GA.
