Mr. Theron Paul "Buck" Blackstock Jr.

Mr. Theron Paul 'Buck' Blackstock, Jr., 78, of Thomaston, died Saturday, February 13, 2016, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held Monday, February 15, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Herb Flanders officiating. Mr. Blackstock, son of the late Theron P. Blackstock., Sr. and Sue Tucker Blackstock, was a graduate of Richmond Academy in Augusta. He was a retired Thomaston businessman, who with his father in 1954, began the Economy Auto Store, which later was Otasco and then Coast to Coast Home and Auto Store. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Thomaston. Mr. Blackstock is survived by his wife, Virginia 'Nita' Blackstock, and a son, Mark (Susan) Blackstock, of Thomaston. He was preceded in death by a son, David Blackstock. The family of Mr. Blackstock can be contacted at the residence.
