Mr. Thomas Lafayette Fowler

Mr. Thomas Lafayette Fowler, 66, of Thomaston, died Friday, February 16, 2018, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services for Mr. Fowler will be held Sunday, February 18, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. Burial will follow in the Flint River Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery. Mr. Fowler, a native Upsonian, was born August 21, 1951, to the late Marcus L. Fowler and Sara F. Reynolds Fowler. He had worked for Thomaston Mills at the Bleachery Division and was a painter. He served in the Georgia National Guard. Mr. Fowler is survived by a son, Jeremy (Alayna) Fowler of Thomaston; a stepson, Marc (Dara) Wade of Thomaston; one sister, Glenda F. Bridges of Thomaston; two nieces: Tammie Bellew and Christy Strom, both of Thomaston; and one granddaughter, Alyssa Fowler of Thomaston.
