Mr. Thomas Rubyn Eubanks, Sr.

Mr. Thomas Rubyn Eubanks, Sr., 92, of Thomaston, died Friday, July 8, 2022, at Harborview Health Care. Funeral services for Mr. Eubanks will be held on Sunday, July 10, at 2:00 PM, at the East Thomaston Baptist Church. Rev. Joey Smith will officiate, and interment will follow in South View Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the church Sunday afternoon from 1:00 until the service hour at the church. Mr. Eubanks was born on February 16, 1930, in Upson County to the late John Thomas Eubanks and Fannie Lee Daniel Eubanks. He was retired from Binford Supply Company where he was the manager for more than forty years. He always enjoyed visiting the sales barn, and he loved his family dearly. Mr. Eubanks was a long-time faithful member of East Thomaston Baptist Church where he served as a Deacon for many years, and could always be found helping prepare for events being held at the church or cooking as a volunteer for Christmas Kitchen. In addition to his parents, Mr. Eubanks was preceded in death by his wife, Nell Hayes Eubanks, and two brothers, Billy Eubanks and Bobby Eubanks. He is survived by a daughter, Dianne (Steve) Wainwright of Thomaston; two sons: Tommy (Neena) Eubanks of Concord, and David (Sheri) Eubanks of Molena; a brother: Hubert (Joann) Eubanks of Marietta; twelve grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
