Mr. Tommy Lee Cook, 62, of Thomaston, died Friday, December 4th, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Mr. Cook was born on March 29, 1953 in Atlanta, a son of the late James R. Cook and Vida Phillips Cook. He was a veteran of the U. S. Navy and was a retired police officer for the City of Jonesboro after 19 years of service. Mr. Cook is survived by two daughters, Taylor Rodgers of Thomaston and Hollly Marmon of Acworth; two sons James 'Jay' Cook of Thomaston and Tommy Christopher Cook of Colorado; two step-sons, Robert Freeman and Hoke Freeman; and a brother, Billy Joe Cook of Griffin. Eight grandchildren also survive. Memorial services for Mr. Cook will be held at a later date. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
