Mr. William Kyle Melton

Mr. William Kyle Melton, age 33, of Thomaston, died Monday, April 15, 2024, at Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, GA. Funeral services for Mr. Melton will be held on Saturday, April 20, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Pastor Susan Williams officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Mr. Melton was born January 7, 1991, in Thomaston, GA, to William Lawrence "Bo" Melton and Sherrie Barfield. He was a self-employed tattoo artist who never met a stranger. He greeted everyone with a bear hug and a big smile. His hobbies included arrowhead hunting and skateboarding. Mr. Melton attended Liberty Worship Center.

Survivors include his father, William Lawrence "Bo" (Michelle) Melton of Thomaston; his mother, Sherrie Barfield Bennett; three siblings: Zach Melton of Thomaston, Ashleigh Johnson of Columbus, and Tyler Johnson of Louisville, KY; his grandfather, Papa Jack Allison of Thomaston; a nephew, Logan Gunn; cousins: Whitney, Lauren, Stephanie, Robin, and Mary Catherine, and many extended family members.

In lieu of flowers, those desiring may make memorial contributions to their favorite charity.
