Mr. William Levon Doggett

Mr. William Levon Doggett, age 72, of Thomaston, died Sunday, April 16, 2023, at his residence.

A memorial service will be held on Thursday, April 20, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home with Rev. Billy Smith officiating. The family of Mr. Doggett will receive friends on Thursday from 3:00 until 4:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home.

Mr. Doggett was born in Sylvester, Georgia, on August 27, 1950, a son of the late Roy Doggett and the late Mary Stone Doggett. He was a high school graduate and was employed as an exterminator for Adams Exterminators in Albany, Georgia. He enjoyed cooking and barbecuing, and he had won several awards for his BBQ in various competitions. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Tifton.

Mr. Doggett is survived by his daughter, Beth (Torrey) Wall of Thomaston; his son, Michael (Jenna) Doggett of Roswell; and his three grandchildren, Austin Wall, Mason Doggett, and Hudson Doggett.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances Harris Doggett, and his brother, Jerry Doggett.
