Mr. William Michael "Mike" Shannon

Mr. William Michael "Mike" Shannon, age 63, of Thomaston, died Monday, January 1, 2024, at his residence. Private services for Mr. Shannon will be held at a later date.

Mr. Shannon was born July 15, 1960, in Atlanta, GA, to the late William David Shannon and the late Alice Craddock Shannon. He had previously been employed as an automotive repairman with Gary's Auto Service. Mr. Shannon was a member of the First Baptist Church of Thomaston. He will be remembered as a fun-loving, caring man.

Survivors include his wife, Starlynn Stephens Shannon; children: Heather Shannon (Travis) Greene, Kristen Slaton, Brittney McElhenney, Jamey Terrell McElhenney, Ashton Stephens McElhenney, and Hayden McElhenney-Sample; a brother, Steve (Kim) Shannon; an aunt, Kay Holloway, and cousins Paige Holloway and Jan Holloway Moll.  Twelve grandchildren also survive.
