Mr. William Richard "Billy" Todd

Mr. William Richard "Billy" Todd, age 66, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, October 13, 2020, at Navicent Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon. Graveside funeral services for Mr. Todd will be held on Friday, October 16, 2020, at 2:00 PM, in South View Cemetery. Pastor Jacob Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Thursday, October 15, from 6:00 - 8:00 PM. Mr. Todd was born March 30, 1954, in Savannah, GA, to the late Carlton Edward Todd and the late Fronita Harden "Chi Chi" Todd. He served in the United States Army for two years and later was a truck driver for J&L Trucking Company. Mr. Todd enjoyed fishing, eating, watching TV, and he loved his family, especially his wife. In addition to his parents, Mr. Todd was preceded in death by a sister, Virginia "Ginger" Todd Dietrich. He is survived by his wife, Rose Marie Pitts, of Thomaston; two daughters, Shannon Todd and Spring Sizemore Worley; four sons: Richard Luther (Kathy) Pitts and Thomas Edward (Crystal Darlene) Pitts, both of Thomaston, Joseph Todd of Savannah, and James Lance Matthews of Thomaston; four sisters: Sandra Todd (Ron) Turner, Carolyn Todd Harden, Theresa Todd (Alan) Kea, and Melinda Killingsworth Winningham; five brothers: James Edward "Jimmy" (Leeann) Todd, Charles "Chucky" Todd, Thomas "Tommy" Todd, Carlton "Curry" Todd, and Robert "Twyler" Todd; Ten grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
