Mr. Willie Clifton Kelly, Sr.

Mr. Willie Clifton Kelly, Sr., 89, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, October 2, 2019 at the Wellstar Spalding Regional Hospital in Griffin. Funeral services for Mr. Kelly will be held on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. The family of Mr. Kelly will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Sunday from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour. Mr. Kelly was born in Alabama on September 21, 1930. He was a retired shift foreman for Thomaston Mills. Mr. Kelly was a member of The Rock Baptist Church. He was also a Mason and was a member of the Morning Star Lodge #27. Mr. Kelly is survived by his wife, Bobbie Jean Shelley Kelly; five sons, Bill (Anne) Kelly and Ken (Billene) Kelly, both of Thomaston, Earl (Pam) Glover of Colorado, Billy (Janet) Glover of Forsyth and Mike (Valerie) Glover of Thomaston; two daughters, Renee (Donnie) Teal and Lynn (Joseph) Teal, both of Thomaston; two brothers, Ross Kelly of Edison and J. C. (Angie) Kelly of Chester, SC; and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
