Andralee (Schadenberg) Bridges, 67, of Davison, Michigan, formerly of Thomaston, went home to be with the Lord Monday, April 2, 2018 while in care at Hurley Medical Center in Flint, Michigan. Visitation will be held at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Wednesday, April 11, 2018 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. A funeral service will be held at the Funeral Home at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 12, 2018, Pastor Steven Craven officiating. Burial will follow in South View Cemetery. Andralee was born March 25, 1951 in Flint, Genesee County, Michigan to William Andrew and Yvonne Marilee (Burnham) Schadenberg. She attended Kearsley High School in Burton, Michigan, and graduated in 1969. Andralee married Calvin Bridges on November 8, 1969 in Flint, Michigan. She was employed in various positions throughout her life, including driving school bus for Kearsley School District in Michigan; owned and operated her own retail business in Georgia for a period; worked at Flint River Outdoor Center; and, was employed in the health industry for several years as a mental health counselor. Her accomplishments included technical Computer Specialist Training at Flint River Technical College; and obtaining her Associates Degree. Traveling, cooking, crocheting, singing, spending time with her grandchildren, were among her many pleasures. She especially enjoyed reading her Bible, and sharing Jesus with her friends and acquaintances. She was a member of New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church in Thomaston, surrounded by a loving church family. Andralee is preceded in death by her husband Calvin Bridges; her father William Andrew Schadenberg; her mother Yvonne Marilee (Burnham) Schadenberg; her brother Jimmy Alan Schadenberg; nephew Jimmy Alan Schadenberg Jr.; and partner Douglas Flournoy Jr. She is survived by her son Corey Bridges of Thomaston; grandchildren Torey (Dennis) Proffer of Buckley, MI, and Kelsey (Scott) McCullough and Corey Bridges Jr. (CJ), both of Thomaston; great-grandsons Kaiden and Kaileb Proffer, and Wyatt and Waylon McCullough; sister Connie (Schadenberg) Campbell of Fontana, California; sister-in-law Linda Schadenberg of Burton, Michigan; long-time partner Johnny C. Proffer of Burton, Michigan ; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. The family wishes to extend their gratitude to her friends and family for their prayers, love and support.
