Mrs. Angela "Gigi" Guined

Mrs. Angela "Gigi" Guined, age 56, of Yatesville, died Friday, October 25, 2024, at Atrium Health Macon Medical Center Navicent with her family by her side.

A memorial service to celebrate Gigi’s life will be held on Wednesday, October 30, at 4:00 PM, in the chapel of Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Rev. Billy Smith will officiate. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. The family will also receive friends following the service at her daughter’s residence, 801 Mica Road, Yatesville, GA 31097.

Mrs. Guined, who was affectionately known by most as Gigi, made her grand entrance in Thomaston, GA, on October 5, 1968. She was employed with Concrete Supply Company, a job she truly enjoyed.

Mrs. Guined was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Glen and Lucille Ritchie, of Yatesville; her maternal grandparents, Luther and Martha Cochran, of Thomaston, and both of her dads, Ralph "Butch" Michael of Thomaston and Donald Glenn Ritchie, of Yatesville.

She is survived by her husband, Kenneth Guined of Yatesville, Kenneth was the absolute love of her life, soulmate and best friend, her four children; Kristopher Edmondson of Hampton, Kelly (Chris) Teal of Yatesville, Megan (Frankie) Cochran of Butler and Jonathan (Kristy) Guined of Oklahoma, her mama, Joyce Michael of Yatesville; two brothers: Shannon (Jaimesue) Michael of Thomaston and Matthew Michael of Yatesville. Seven grandchildren: Jaxson, Jasper, Stormi, Axel, AJ, Ashlynn, and Wyatt, nieces and nephews: Tatum, Heather (H), Tucker, and Maximus, and a multitude of loving friends also survive.
