Mrs. Angelina Pirulli Lester

Mrs. Angelina Pirulli Lester, 90, of Day Road, died Monday, January 2, 2023, at her home.

Angelina P. Lester, a native of Brooklyn, New York was a first generation American born to Italian

immigrants. She moved to Thomaston, Georgia, with her husband Winfred T. Lester in 1989.

Mrs. Lester became a world traveler by virtue of her husband's 20 year USAF military career.

In addition to her love of family, she set aside time to play Scrabble in the mornings,

and watched Jeopardy every evening. Mrs. Lester was of the Catholic faith.

She is predeceased by her husband Winfred Thomas Lester. Survivors include her two

daughters, Michaelina Lester of Thomaston, Mary Ann Lester of Mt Airy, GA, and her son

Jay Lester of Davie, FL; grandchildren Brian (Angela) Diedrick of Jackson, MS,

Rhonelle (Chris) Roberts of Cornelia, GA, Emma Diedrick (Arturo Pomar) of Sunny Isles, FL,

Phillip Lester (Sidney Mcleod) of Richmond Hill, GA, Thomas Lester of Wilton Manors, FL, godson

Anthony Nuzzi of Davie, FL, and lovingly referred to as "The Great One" by her great-grandchildren

Drake and Drew Diedrick, both of Jackson MS, Angelina and Christopher Roberts, both of Cornelia, GA.

Services for Mrs. Lester will be held Monday, February 20, 2023, at 1:00 pm, at St. Peter The Rock

Catholic Church, The Rock, Georgia.
