Mrs. Warren was born March 3, 1939, in Thomaston, GA, to the late Robert Wilson Starling and Fannie Dora Jarrell Starling. She was a 1958 graduate of R. E. Lee Institute. At an early age, she joined with her parents at East Thomaston Baptist Church, where she grew up playing the piano and singing with her sister Henrietta Drinnen. In mid-life she moved her letter to Faith Baptist Church where she faithfully served for over fifty years as an accomplished pianist and organist, playing for congregational services, weddings, and funerals, and holding various positions such as church secretary and treasurer. She was blessed with two companions: the late Reginald "Leon" Jones, and then the late Harvey Eugene Warren, Sr., whom she referred to as "the love of her life." With these two, she raised nine children. They created a loving home and cared for their children and kept many of their grandchildren on a daily basis. Her family was her passion and the center of her life. Her love extended beyond her own family, touching the lives of all who were blessed to know her. She claimed many extended family members as her own. Mrs. Warren enjoyed family genealogy and counting cousins. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Warren was preceded in death by her husband, Harvey E.
