Mrs. Betty Marie Bradshaw Adams

Mrs. Betty Marie Bradshaw Adams, age 91, of Thomaston, died Friday, April 12, 2019, at her residence. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Adams will be held Monday, April 15, at 11:00 AM, at Crystal Hill Cemetery with Rev. Jason Weeks officiating. The family will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home Monday from 10:00 - 11:00 AM. Mrs. Adams was born June 16, 1927, in Upson County, to the late Clyde and Allie Mae Ruffin Bradshaw. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was retired from Thomaston Mills where she was a Lab Technician. At the time of her death, Mrs. Adams was the oldest member of Fellowship Baptist Church. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Malvin M. Adams and a sister, Bonnell Corley. Survivors include her sons, Steven C. (Jo) Adams of Marietta, GA, and Andrew P. (Rosa) Adams of Columbus, GA; three sisters: Louise (Gene) Fallin of Jensen Beach, FL; JoAnn (Hubert) Eubanks of Marietta, GA; and Linda (George) Collins, of Thomaston; a brother, Rev. Jack (Ann)Bradshaw of Columbia, SC. Five grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews also survive.
