Mrs. Bobbie Salter Elliott

Mrs. Bobbie Salter Elliott, age 85, of Thomaston, died Saturday, May 28, 2022, at Ansley Park Health and Rehabilitation in Newnan, Georgia. A graveside service for Mrs. Elliott will be held on Tuesday, May 31, at 11:00 AM, at South View Cemetery. Rev. Jason Weeks will officiate. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Monday evening, May 30, at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Mrs. Elliott was born in Thomaston, on May 31, 1936, a daughter of the late Raymond E. Salter and the late Nellie Ruth Dickerson Salter. She was graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was a secretary at B.F. Goodrich for many years. Mrs. Elliott is survived by her sons, Stanley (Dale) Elliott, Jerry Elliott, Terry (Bonnie) Elliott, all of Thomaston; sisters, Glenda (Jimmy) McKinley, Diane (Ben) Boatright, Carlene Phelps, Sylvia Howell, seven grandchildren, Anna (John) Dever, Tyron Elliott, Jay (Kelli) Elliott, Dusty (Jennifer) Elliott, Christy (Justin) Cook, Kelly Rivera, and Casey Elliott. Also surviving are fifteen great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild, and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne Tyron Elliott, her brother, Ronald Salter, and her brothers-in-law, Joe Phelps and Bruce Howell.
