Mrs. Carole Ann Miller Martiny

Mrs. Carole Ann Miller Martiny, 61, of Thomaston, died Friday, October 19, 2018, at her home. Mrs. Martiny was born in Rochester, NY, on April 23, 1957, a daughter of the late Laverne Carl and Helen Bernice Bradley Miller. She had lived in Thomaston since 2008 and was a retired pharmacy technician. Mrs. Martiny married Frank Robert Martiny on April 20, 1990. Their union would last until his death in 2013. Mrs. Martiny especially loved the spring season and considered life to be a big adventure, where she could laugh and have fun all the time. Her message to her family and friends was that she loved them all and wished to thank them for all their prayers. “I know God will touch all your lives as he did mine.” Her faith and her church family at East Thomaston Baptist Church sustained her. In her last few years of failing health she was blessed with loving and faithful care provided by her son, Robert Martiny. Mrs. Martiny is survived by four children and eight grandchildren. A memorial service is being planned for Sunday, October 28, 2018, at 3:00 PM at East Thomaston Baptist Church with Rev. Joey Smith officiating.
