Mrs. Catherine Baston

Augusta, GA – Entered into rest on Saturday, June 18, 2022, Mrs. Catherine Atkinson Baston, 88, loving wife of the late Robert “Billy” William Baston. Catherine was born in Jefferson County but spent most of her life in Columbia County. She was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church. Family members include her daughter: Barbara “Bobbie” Baston Daniel and husband Mark of Thomaston, GA; grandson: Michael Murphy; granddaughters: Jessica McManus and Jamie McManus Prowell and David; great grandchildren: Flint McCard and Clay McCard; and many special friends. In addition to her husband, she is preceded in death by her daughter, Kathy Murphy and Sister Ollie Cook. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 11:00 A.M.in the chapel of Thomas Poteet & Son with Rev. Sonny Serigney officiating. Interment will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.
