Mrs. Cynthia Ann Mitchell

Mrs. Cynthia Ann Mitchell, age 74, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, April 23, 2025, at Harborview Health Care.  

Mrs. Mitchell was born October 28, 1950, in Atlanta, GA, to the late John C. Helton and Betty Jo Buchanan Goins.  She had worked in nutrition with Lamar County Schools and Rock Springs Church.  She had previously managed citrus orchards in Orlando, FL.  Mrs. Mitchell was a homemaker who loved taking care of everyone.  She attended Rock Springs Church.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Mitchell was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Ray Mitchell, and a brother, Keith Helton.  She is survived by two nieces, Courtney Smith and Victoria "Torie" Johnson, both of AL; two sons: Billy Farrow and Damon Farrow; two brothers; Tim Helton and Gary Campbell.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.
