Mrs. Dona Van Houten Turner

Mrs. Dona Van Houten Turner, 88, of Thomaston, died Wednesday evening, January 14, 2015, at Riverside Health and Rehab Center. Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 17, 2015, at 11:00 AM, at East Thomaston Baptist Church. Rev. Joey Smith will officiate, and burial will follow in Upson Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Turner was retired from the Peerless Division of Thomaston Mills and was a member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. Mrs. Turner was predeceased by her husband, John William (Billy) Turner. Survivors include her daughter, Teresa Turner of Thomaston; a sister-in-law, Betty Turner of East Point, GA; and numerous nieces and nephews. The family of Mrs. Turner will receive friends Friday evening, January 16, from 5 until 7 PM, at Pasley-Fletcher Funeral Home. It is the request of the family that memorial contributions be made to East Thomaston Baptist Church, PO Box 329, Thomaston, GA 30286.
