Mrs. Doris Ogletree Ledbetter

Mrs. Doris Ogletree Ledbetter, 81, of Thomaston, died Friday, May 27, 2016 at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Ledbetter will be held on Monday, May 30th, 2016 at 2 pm in the Chapel of the Fletcher-Day Funeral Home. Entombment will follow in South View Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Ledbetter will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Monday from 1 pm until the funeral hour. Mrs. Ledbetter was born in Upson County on April 19, 1935, a daughter of the late George Ogletree and Margaret Wilson Ogletree. She was an inspector for Sherry Lynn in Zebulon until her retirement in 1987. After her retirement she joined her husband, the late Garry Ledbetter, Sr., as his receptionist and office manager at Gary's Auto Service. Mrs. Ledbetter was of the Baptist Faith. She is survived by her daughter, Stacey L. (Foy) Gilbert of Griffin; two sons, Garry (Kim) Ledbetter, Jr., and George Chuck Ledbetter, both of Thomaston; six grandchildren and three great grandchildren; a special sister-in-law, Gladys Ogletree Johnson; and several nieces and nephews.
