Mrs. Eleanor Carol Ellerbee Jimmerson

Mrs. Eleanor Carol Ellerbee Jimmerson, age 85, of Thomaston, died Monday, April 27, 2020, at Riverside Health and Rehab. A private graveside service will be held at Hendricks Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. Jimmerson will lie in state at Fletcher-Day Funeral home for those who wish to have a private viewing time. Mrs. Jimmerson was born on November 6, 1934, in Upson County to the late Robert Marcus Ellerbee and Willie Lee Holliman Ellerbee. She was a graduate of Robert E. Lee Institute and was the Founder and Operator of The Notion Shop at Crest. Mrs. Jimmerson was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Jimmerson is survived by her son, Marcus Alvin Jimmerson of Iowa Park, Texas; and a brother, James “Crackcorn” Ellerbee of Thomaston. Several nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Jimmerson, a son, Robert Jackson Jimmerson, and her brother, Robert Lee Ellerbee.
