Mrs. Elizabeth M. "Betty" Daniel

Mrs. Elizabeth M. "Betty" Daniel, 96, of Thomaston, died Wednesday, January 16, 2019, at her home. Funeral services for Mrs. Daniel will be held on Saturday, January 19, 2019, at 11:30 AM, at the Flint River Primitive Baptist Church. Elder Billy Mullis, Elder Lavone Anderson, and Elder Lee Price will officiate, and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family of Mrs. Daniel will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 9:30 AM until the funeral hour. Mrs. Daniel was born in Meriwether County on June 26, 1922, a daughter of the late Walter M. and Della Clay Minter. She was a graduate of R. E. Lee Institute and was a member of the Flint River Primitive Baptist Church. Mrs. Daniel was a faithful servant of the Lord, a loving wife and a devoted mother. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Daniel was preceded in death by a sister, Jameszette Minter, who died at the age of five, and her husband of 71 years, Dennis Ausburn Daniel, Jr. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Larry and Rhonda Daniel of Clarkesville; and several nieces and nephews.
