Mrs. Ella Rhunette Hayes Ellington

Mrs. Ella Rhunette Ellington, 97, of Thomaston, died Tuesday, August 11, 2020 at Riverside Health and Rehab. Graveside funeral services for Mrs. Ellington will be held on Thursday, August 13, 2020 at 11:00 AM in South View Cemetery with Rev. Joey Smith officiating. Mrs. Ellington was a life-long resident of Thomaston, born on April 29, 1923. She was the daughter of the late William Kirksley and Mary Elizabeth Deloach Hayes. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking for family. Mrs. Ellington was a member of the East Thomaston Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Chester Parker Ellington. Mrs. Ellington is survived by three daughters, Eloise (James) Ellington of Yatesville, Connie Harp of Woodland, and Sandra (Dwight) Fenley of Thomaston. Five grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive.
