Mrs. Ernestine Best Engle

Mrs. Ernestine Best Engle, 81, of Thomaston, died Thursday, October 18, 2018, at Upson Regional Medical Center. Memorial services for Mrs. Engle will be held on Sunday, October 21, 2018, at 4:00 PM at the Thomaston First Assembly of God Church with Rev. Mickey Corley officiating. The family will receive friends at the church on Sunday from 2:30 pm until the service hour. Mrs. Engle was born on November 4, 1936, in McRae, a daughter of the late Luther Franklin and Lois Canzadie Short Best. She was a graduate of the R. E. Lee Institute Class of 1954 and was a retired bookkeeper for the Yamaha Manufacturing Company. She enjoyed bee-keeping with her husband, the late Billy Engle. Mrs. Engle was a member of the Thomaston First Assembly of God Church. She is survived by her sister, Elane (Freddy) Daniel of Thomaston and her brother, Ralph (Linda) Best of The Rock. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made to the Foreign Missions Offering at the First Assembly of God Church, 205 West County Road, Thomaston, GA 30286.
