Mrs. Eunice Ruffin Harris

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Mrs. Eunice Harris. She passed away peacefully in her sleep on September 20, 2020. Eunice was born in Thomaston, GA on December 11, 1922 and lived there until the age of 92. She moved to Orlando, FL in 2014 to be closer to her only daughter, Tena. She worked at Thomaston Mills for many years and then became a bank teller at West Central GA Bank. Eunice was an active member of East Thomaston Baptist Church. She is survived by her daughter, Tena Harris of Orlando. A viewing will be held at Fletcher Day Funeral Home on Friday September 25, 2020 from 6:00-8:00. There will be a graveside service at South View Cemetery on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 11:00. Fletcher-Day Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
