Mrs. Evelyn Rachel Riggins Wise

Mrs. Evelyn Rachel Riggins Wise, 94, of Molena, died Wednesday, September 30th, 2015 at Upson Regional Medical Center. Funeral services for Mrs. Wise will be held on Saturday, October 3rd, 2015 at Molena Baptist Church with the Rev. Neil Anderson officiating. Burial will be in Molena City Cemetery. The family of Mrs. Wise will receive friends at Fletcher-Day Funeral Home on Friday from 6 until 8 pm. Mrs. Wise was born on October 11, 1920, a daughter of the late Lester Riggins and Della Ledford Riggins. She was a 1940 graduate of Woodbury High School. Mrs. Wise was a life-long resident of the Molena Community of Pike and Upson Counties. She was a homemaker and was a member of the Molena Baptist Church for over 70 years. Mrs. Wise is survived by two daughters, Janet (Ricky) Gilbert of Molena and Joyce Hogan and fianc Mick Belk of Lincolnton; and four grandchildren, Cresta Gilbert Davis, Claire Gilbert (Jonathan) Helms, Dr. William (Dr. Laura) Hogan, and Jana Hogan (Jason) Turner. Seven great grandchildren also survive. She was preceded in death by her husband, R. F. Wise. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Molena Baptist Church, P. O.
